This one, I can immediately tell this is Junji Ito inspired, mainly off of the character Tomie- very fitting to the subject because as of recent, someone tried cake smearing the Mona Lisa. Over history, people have tried defacing and stealing the painting, which fits into the horror theme of a particular person/item causing others to act oddly.
I will say, comparing the work you have here vs the official art of Junji, there's a particular pattern in Tomie's face of the 'stretch', where the normal and deranged face connects- the 'wave' designs are thick in their lines and symmetrical, with only a few straying and thin lines. You can make the lines flow more together rather than have them straying a little too much. In addition, Consider framing the deranged face's nose in particular with more stretch and shade the hair with some white lines!
